Twenty-seven-year-old Erica is happy with her uncomplicated life: She works in her aunt's floral shop, she bakes in her free time, and she cherishes her small group of friends. Sure, she's single, but Erica's fine with it. As far as she's concerned, not everybody gets a great love.

Then one day she delivers flowers to her aunt's newest client, Catherine, a forty-year-old bridal shop owner, and Erica finds herself drawn to her. While the attraction initially catches her off guard - she's never desired a woman before-she soon realizes that her crush is the real deal.

And Erica isn't the only one experiencing sparks. Catherine feels them, too. But between their age difference, the need to remain professional, and both of their past experiences with love, both women are hesitant to make a move. Soon, however, it becomes obvious that they need to stop holding back and let their love bloom.

quaint little romance

Two women find themselves attracted to each other. One has not had a sapphic experience and the other was sufficiently burned from her last breakup to not pursue another. These two meet and work to overcome their own trepidations. How does it all turn out? A nice well rounded novella that was enjoyably narrated.

SHort but excellent.

It is a short book, usually I listen to 6 and mor hours of audios but I had a coupon so I used it for this book and it was a great investment :)

Too short!

When they finally come together it would have been more appropriate for Katherine to let Érica take the lead… it felt too fast and forward for someone who was new and nervous.. the epilogue was also a bit of a jump..

Sweet age gap story

Lovely, sweet story with low angst. Loved both MCs & supporting characters. Good & honest communication between MCs made it a breath of fresh air to listen to this book. Lori Prince was the perfect narrator bringing the characters to life. Def will look for more books by this author.
