Golden child Mason Bishop has finally had enough. Tired of bearing the weight of his parents’ expectations, he’s determined to break free and forge his own path. It’s time for him to go after the things he really wants - including the girl he never forgot.

Scarlett Jones is done being ruled by her insecurities. She’s ready to be seen as something other than one of the guys, and she’s done thinking she’s not good enough for the social elite - especially the Bishops.

When Mason runs into Scarlett at a concert, he believes it’s fate bringing them together. But fate only gets you so far. If he wants a real chance with Scarlett, it’s going to take a whole lot of charm to convince her he’s worth it.

A light and easy beach romance, this book is the third in the series. I’ve found all of them a bit slow and hard to get into for the first hour or so at which point the story developed and I was hooked. Good narration.

Enjoyable

Good series! I wish book 5 and 6 were on Audible. I want to hear the rest of the story....

Great Series

Through 85% of the book, the h is probably the most condescending person on the planet. The H is a kind and down to Earth person who has an amazing amount of patience and forgiveness.

The h continuously jumps to the worst case scenario about the H through most of the book and that was extraordinary frustrating. Even at the end, the h has difficulty in expressing her feelings to the H, even though she internal dialogs it several times.

For me, had the h started her turn around by the 60% mark, this would have been a 4-5 Star read for me. Love the author but the h made this a difficult listen at times. On to the next book in the series.

The h... Grrr!
