Jean and Rosie, opposites in every way, are dealing with different aspects of their lives when they find themselves working side-by-side in the same real estate company. Despite reluctance, they also find themselves teaming up for some new mid-life adventures filled with excitement, romance and plenty of drama. As they become better acquainted, a friendship begins to form. They laugh, cry, and even fight together. Until finally, during a slumber party and while sporting polyester pajamas, they entrust their lives completely to each other and share their deepest, darkest secrets. Through it all, they discover how truly wonderful having a best friend, at any age, can be. If you've ever had or needed a best friend, have wondered what life was all about, have been ashamed of something you've done in the past, or if you've ever lost someone you loved with all of your heart, then you must listen to this book!

Good Book

At first I was a little put off by the characters abrasiveness. But as the story unfolds you come to understand and then you settle in to listen to things develop. I received this book at no charge in exchange for my honest review. I think if your a fifty something this could be a good fit. But I don't think younger people would understand the journey that these characters have been on. With age comes life's experiences and you just can't get that without having made the journey. So much of what they go though from death, divorce, children leaving home, starting over you can't appreciate until your either there or already on that path. So in my humble opinion not a twenty something book.

Sweet

Pleasant narration but I found the story line lacking a little excitement. Good for some light reading but not a real memorable book in my humble opinion.

Harlequin-like
