When someone kidnaps the last surviving descendant of the Grandmaster of the Knights Templar, it's bad news. When the baby is the key to the tenuous alliance between a large werewolf pack and the knights, it's even worse news. They're at each other's throats before they've even begun to look for baby Constance.
But whoever kidnapped Constance didn't count on one thing: She's also the goddaughter of John Charming, modern-day descendant of a long line of famous dragon slayers, witch finders, and wrong righters. John may not have any experience being a parent, but someone is about to find out that he can be one mean mother.

Great 4th book in the Pax Arcana series. Narrator does a great job with a growing cast. The author has a developing cast with good chemistry and plenty of humor. Elliot James is fantastic at mixing in humor without mucking up the storyline. A must listen for anyone who likes this series!Great series

In Shining Armor continues where the previous novel left off and to say this latest adventure is fast paced is an understatement. Turbo charged is more like it.
As to the narration, it's hard to pinpoint what makes one narrator more enjoyable to listen to than another, but IMHO, Roger Wayne is a perfect fit for John Charming's dry wit and sarcasm. His timing is superb, adding zing to a comment, that more than once had me laughing out loud.
ISA (as with the others in the series) is a keeper for me, to be relistened to with pleasure again and again. And I dearly hope that some time soon Elliott James' short stories (narrated by Roger Wayne) will become available too.
Enjoy!
