From the author of international best seller The Treehouse and The Abduction of Sarah Phillips, the latest thrilling novel by Andrew J Brandt.

Tucked away in Texas hill country, the town of Decker wakes up to find every woman has seemingly vanished in the middle of the night, leaving behind their clothing and rings in their beds.

Except one woman.

When the body of Catherine Harlow is found, the victim of a gruesome murder, the town devolves into a scene of paranoia and panic, with a power-hungry police chief pulling the strings and enforcing his will.

Thus begins this supernatural thriller from "new king of suspense" (Goodreads review) Andrew J. Brandt.

Praise for Andrew J. Brandt:

Awesome book. Author did a great job. All around very enjoyable audiobook! The main characters are well done, believable, and you quickly find yourself engrossed in their stories. The main plot of the story's universe isn't exactly super original, but it has enough tweaks that it is still interesting and brimming with potential. Waiting for the next series

Nice book

The story was good. Performance was good.
Whoever wrote this book was very uncreative. There were multiple repeated descriptive phrases throughout that became very predictable, almost like filler to make it longer. Ex: 4 or more times we got to hear about a man's "long receding hairline " or belly that "hung over his belt" or cars that "lurched to life" . It seemed like the author wrote some phrases that he really loved so he decided to use them repeatedly.

Good story but very cut and paste

Such a well written story! It's super intuitive and powerfully direct. Even as a supernatural thriller it is believable and relatable while still maintaining an ambiance of fantasy. The characters and scenes are developed in such a way that each and every one pull you into their presence. The ending is amazing! MUST READ NOW!!! I have read all of Andrew J Brandt's books and not a single moment is lost to boredom.

This really kept me on edge. I also enjoyed the narrator. My only complaint is that with the ending it didn't seem complete.
