The word inamorata means lover; more specifically, a female lover. It is a romantic word. An intimate word. A word that curdled her blood. Because it was his name for her. His token of affection. What he always called her before he brought her into a world of pain.

But all of that is behind her. She has escaped, moved on, and even found new love - a new love who is determined to protect her, heal her, and give her the fairy-tale love she so sorely deserves.
