A new, sexy standalone from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.

He's her boss. She's his greatest temptation.

The first time I met Dawson Reed, we wound up in bed.

The problem was, neither of us knew the other were there.

When I woke up in the middle of the night and found a stranger next to me, instinct kicked in and I attacked the intruder.

Only it turned out, the man wasn’t an intruder at all.

Dawson had rented this cabin, too. Apparently, a system glitch allowed a duplicate booking.

We’d soon find out we were in town for the same wedding, and Dawson was the groomsman I’d been warned about. He was as tall, dark and jaw-droppingly gorgeous as my best friend had described. Though she was also right when she’d said you two will hate each other.

When daylight rolled around, Dawson and I attempted to straighten out the mess we found ourselves in. But it proved to be more difficult than we initially thought. Since it was a holiday weekend, there wasn’t a single room available for more than fifty miles.

I suppose things could be worse than sharing a cabin for a weekend with a handsome man you despise.

Like maybe him winding up being your new boss?

This was a very nice and easy read/listen that didn't go crazy with over-the-top angst. It was just a fairly straight-forward story, even if it had a bit of a hard to believe beginning.

The two characters meet when a naked Dawson (who thinks he's in the Airbnb that he rented) gets into bed after a long travel day. Yes, Naomi is already in the same bed because through some type of glitch, she ALSO rented the same Airbnb and is already asleep.

Am I to believe that Dawson NEVER turned on a light in a brand-new place that he just arrived to. That he took off all his clothes IN THE DARK but never trips on Naomi's suitcase or belongings and somehow finds the bed without any lights on.....?????

So, after deciding to just "go with it" and pretend things like that happen every day, the story actually ends up redeeming itself.

I ended up liking both of the main characters. Even though Dawson comes across as extremely arrogant at times, it actually works for him. None of it feels condescending nor does it feel like he is trying to insult or put down Naomi. It just feels like he is completely sure of himself and in a way, it makes him more endearing.

Naomi is also a very intelligent and mature character who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and definitely NOT afraid to speak her mind.

There was a lot going on with the secondary characters and the secondary plotlines dealing with illness and even death, but it was done well. We don't find out until near the end of the book what it was in his past that Dawson had a hard time dealing with and when we do finally discover what the issue was - it made sense. That doesn't always happen in these books.

I would be remiss if I did not mention that this book was narrated by two of the greats - Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. They are as close to narrating royalty as you can get, and they did not disappoint with this book.

I always enjoy a Vi Keeland book. And being narrated by the wonderful Sebastian York and Andi Arndt is always top notch.
The story was good, very well written, amazing audio listen....with one exception, the number of times I had to hear the phrase/word COCONUT!!! Coconut scent, love coconut, the smell of coconut, coconut, coconut, coconut drove me insane, it was too much.

Overall I enjoyed this book and look forward to my next listen by Vi Keeland.

What a trio...Vi Keeland and narrators Sebastian York and Andi Arndt. This book covers it all...,humor, heartache, friendship, family, and a little spice too. I laughed and I cried and, of course, loved the HEA.

Covers all the feels!
