The entire kingdom of Athenai is still on the hunt for the traitor who murdered the legendary King of Athenai, Roman’s father only to vanish into thin air. In the wake of the betrayal, Roman is thrust headfirst into the role of Monarch immediately after his coronation and wedding ceremony to the feisty, headstrong woman who has captured his heart fully and irrevocably.

Fending off attacks from all sides, Roman finds solace in the arms of his new bride; Melina Crane. Only Melina has her own demons to hunt down; finding out the identity of her birth parents has become her one obsession.

A wave of a mysterious illness sweeps the demesnes, requiring both parties to halt their personal quests in the bid to save the land of Ethereals. In the midst of this embroilment, a strange premonition comes out. Melina has to be impregnated to save the Land of Ethereals and the only way to do that is to become a vampire.

To make matters even worse, Melina’s investigation into her past awakens a great evil that comes knocking on her doorstep. Loyalties are tested in the storm that is beginning to stir.

Do they really have what it takes to fight off this imminent threat? The mettle to stay afloat the tumultuous tide?
