Everybody has daddy issues.
Justin's reunion with his father starts with a punch to the face, and their capture by Exorcists, a cult branch of the Templars supposedly disbanded centuries ago. The Exorcists banish Justin and his father David, to the Gloom. Fighting to escape exile, Justin discovers everything he knows about his father is a lie. Even worse, the man is a complete jackass who won't give a straight answer to the simplest of questions.
But when they stumble upon a secret army being grown by one of Daelissa's minions, they realize much more than a healthy father-son relationship is at stake. Justin and his father will have to escape the Gloom, bring back reinforcements, and crush the enemy, before Daelissa marches her forces into the real world. Unfortunately, the army stands between them and freedom. Daddy issues will have to wait. The war starts now.

Austin Rising you are too good to be true

Every character he creates is supposed to be a warrior. Instead he makes his characters immature and filled with cowardice! It is disgusting to read. Especially after you realize that his characters are what he believes a warrior is or how a warrior lives and fights. humanity would have went extinct long long ago if we warriors acted the way Corwin thinks we do!!
I’m starting to think Corwin is intentionally insulting real world warriors and people from every nation on Earth.
Don’t waste time or money on his trash writings and his continuous insults of those that stand ready to do great violence on your behalf so you may sleep peacefully at night.
Corwin, i hope that someday you find yourself in the position to either become a warrior and protect your loved ones, or you become a Shovel-man and have to bury your loved ones’ remains.
