Fun story, but no payoff

Made it all the way through the series. It's a fun adventure if you look just at the surface level. Ending felt so rushed. So many questions that the story painfully leaves me wanting answers for.

a non-cowboy necromancer pepper farmer, that's always funny.
good amount of action with some funny portions.
if another book is made continuing their adventure, I'll probably check it out.
