From the moment Elizabeth escaped her mind prison, Sam and her friends braced for the worst.

With the Dark Masters' plan now set in motion, only two things are known for sure:

The plan is big, and it's going to be horrible.

After tracking the dark masters down to the remote jungles of Venezuela, Sam and her crew rush there to prevent the apocalypse they're certain is brewing.

Alas, problems abound.

Not only are they facing a new type of vampire they've never seen before, but Elizabeth gets the upper hand in a major way.

Sam is thrust into a maze of alternate realities where she is forced to face an enemy far more dangerous than an ancient sorceress: Herself.

And if she can't escape the trap fast enough, Elizabeth will enslave an entire dimension.

The ground hog day plot was tedious. I've enjoyed the series except for this one. I suggest skipping this one. The storyline doesn't progress at all. The excessive use of the "grrr" sound was the final annoying straw. Great narrator.

Disappointed

Unfortunately this book was 80-90% alternate dimension hopscotch which did nothing to progress the overall story. Could be skipped and not miss anything important. Will be returning.
I love Dina Pearlman as a narrator and is perfect for Sam's character.
Gave 2 stars overall but 5 for narration.
