In the near future, one corporation, Blackstone Technologies, has changed the world: no disasters, no poverty, and life-altering technology. Blackstone has the impunity to destroy - or create - as it sees fit.

Infinity "Finn" Blackstone is the 17-year-old daughter of Blackstone's reclusive CEO - but she's never even met him. When disturbing dreams about a past she doesn't remember begin to torment her, Finn knows there's only one person who can provide answers: her father.

After Finn and an elite group of peers are invited to Blackstone's top-secret HQ, Finn realizes she may have a chance to confront her father. But when a highly sophisticated company AI morphs into a killing machine, the trip descends into chaos. Trapped inside shape-shifting walls, Finn and her friends are at the mercy of an all-seeing intelligence that will destroy everything to get to her.

With no hope of help, Finn's dream-memories may be the only chance of survival. But will she remember in time to save her own life and the lives of those around her?

I enjoyed the story more then I thought I would, due to all the other reviews. I loved loved loved the narrator! she made a child sound just like a cute child and did well with men voices also. I do have to say I almost quit reading it in the begining. there was a disturbing scene where grown men tried to molest a little girl. but what happens after makes it worth listening to it past that point!! also I have no complaints about how the book ends. it ends much like many other series, at a crucial point. I, unlike some, also enjoy getting to know the different characters so well. I already downloaded the second book and can't wait to read it. one more thing. I appreciate that there is no cussing in this book. besides the afore mentioned scene, I would say it's probably a PG-13 book. just my opinion.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, for the most part it was a snooze, suffering from a confused plot. It did pick up at parts and catch my Attention but it was always short lived.

What was most disappointing about S. Harrison’s story?

One word summary: unsatisfied. Everything about this book is unsatisfying... even as you read it you feel unsatisfied by the events happening, as if you're not getting the full experience of the event or some line or comment or detail was lost (but not in the "left out for suspense" kind of way).

Which scene was your favorite?

The only memorable scene was when Finn's friend dies, but isn't unnecessary death of a minor always memorable and tragic?

Could you see Infinity Lost being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

It might work with heavy adaption.

Any additional comments?

My experience reading was "okay... yawn... I might quit.. OH WAIT...never mind... boring boring... oh wait... never mind... meh... meh... is it over? Oh well maybe I'll... nah"

AI (robots) and light sci-fi meets YA, but pass.
