Wonderful!

It sounds hyperbolic, but this is one of the best things I have listened to in years. I am not sure if it is because I love tea, or because I fell in love with the author/reader, but this to tea is what Kermit Lynch’s Adventures on the Wine Route is to wine: essential if you are fond of either.

As delightful as a cup of tea!

This book was a mesmerizing journey through a brave woman’s life and her passion to bring quality to the world. I’ve never finished an audiobook that I wanted to start again immediately as much as this one, and I’m an English literature scholar!

The romance of tea

The story of Henrietta 's tea travels and adventures made me long to see the places, smell the smells and taste the beautiful teas. I fell in love with tea again and my desire to travel to China and Japan to enjoy the ancient tea culture. I really enjoyed listen to this book and will defentily listen to it again and again. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful!!! A must read/ listen

I am bit of a tea nerd and this book narrated beautifully by Henrietta made me look beyond the leaves into the people actually making them and the stories related. It also got me out of the world of Chinese tea and into Malawi, Nepal, Meghalaya( where I have already contacted for the famous Cloud tea), Sikkim, Ceylon and more. Though China tea culture always fascinates me.
I think I am going to be listening to the same book at least twice more. 🙏🙏🙏

Second Infusion

I loved this book almost as much as I love tea. The only issue is that we've now only finished the first infusion of knowledge from The Tea Lady--Henrietta Lovell. I am not sure if Henrietta is interested in writing a second book, but I sure would enjoy a second infusion, or like a good rolled oolong, perhaps a 3rd, 4th, or 5th infusion.
