a different kind of love story

This was amazing and so well written and obviously the best narrator ever IMO. The whole coming of age love story was one for the books and I'll come back to this again and again.

Such a good love story

I loved everything about this book and Julia Whelan does an excellent job with the narration. 5 stars. No notes. Wish I could read it again for the first time.

One of the best books I’ve heard on audible in a while

This is such a beautiful love story. Lovely to see the characters really walk and talk through so many real life and ifs or buts about real life. I couldn’t put it down. The narrators are great and the whole plot is fantastic. Just wish there was an epilogue. I can see this being made into TV.

Devastatingly beautiful

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this book made me feel… everything. I smiled, I laughed, I cried. Just… WOW

Oh, the YEARNING!

This book is an exquisite gut punch, and I mean that in the best way. There is a lot of palpable anguish from both main characters, but there are also themes of familial love and the strength of the human spirit. I can see myself returning to this book for many years to come.
