Definately a four alarm fire!

Kat does it again with the strong assertive male and an independent focused female! Add an especially despicable villain and a fourteen year old innocent and the plot reveals the abominable human trafficking trade. The narrator, Vanessa Edwin, flawlessly brings Into the Firestorm to life but to be an A+ reader she needs to better define her male characters. The book has a steamy romance that melts the words off the paper but not smuttily done. Kat is walking a fine line with her series and so far has not become a repetitive plot/theme author. A good read for us Pollyannas that always cheer for the good guys!

I found the narrator tedious,to listen too. Her speech was very stilted and formal, no passion during action scenes.

Whoa! What a read!

I love this series. The men of BOSS, Inc. are some bad mamajama's and they just don't back down. It's a boo that will keep you on your toes and on the edge of your seat.

Luke Brody is a ladies man. Everyone knows it. So when little Miss Emma shows up and catches his eye, he knows he is in trouble. This bounty hunter is tough as nails, and hot as all get out. Luke wants her, but he can't have her.

As luck would have it, they're both after the same bad app, Rudy Vance. An man hat Emma holds a personal grudge against. He's the man that has turned her families lives up side down. Luke and Emma team up and boy howdy, those two are both as stubborn as a mule and nether like to back down from a challenge.

As far as the outside world knows, things are new and different but inside their bubble, things are heating up in all kinds of ways. They have a mission: take down Rudy Vance, not get dead and not break each other's hearts.

Trick is, no one sees the bricks stacking against them until it's too late. Rough roads make for shaky insides and the monster with in Luke Brody gets pulled to the surface.... bringing the bricks down on top of his head.

Digging his way out is not an option. But for Emma it's the only thing to do. One way or another, she'll make it happen.

good series lousy narrator

3rd in the series same narrator which I didn't like from book 1. I felt a man should've narrated. good story though

Chapter one is missing!

“This is Audible.” Then immediately: “Chapter 2. Seattle, Washington, ten months later….” Checked the chapters and it states chapter 1. Listen all the way through. Then Chapter 2 is repeated again in the chapter 2 slot. “Chapter 2, Seattle, Washington, ten months later….”
