Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny are attending the re-opening of Tyrone’s Castle, an ancient Cornish inn originally built by smugglers. Over dinner that night, the guests entertain one another with ghost stories inspired by local legends and superstitions. But it would appear that the curse of Tyrone’s Castle has struck for real when one of their number disappears into thin air. And then another....

Is the inn really subject to an ancient curse? Skeptical of ghost stories, Ishmael believes the key to the mystery lies in the present rather than the past. But with no bodies, no evidence and no clues to go on, how can he prove it?

This particularly book doesn’t add anything to the main storyline. If you want to listen and enjoy a new murder mystery go ahead, but if you want to know more about Ishmael’s past this book isnt for you.

Yes, you can write an Ishmael Jones "Adventure"!!!!

Step 1 - Ishmael and Penny show up at a new mission to meet a group of people that don't trust him

Step 2 - people start dying, Ishmael gets mad that he can't protect everyone.

Step 3 - the survivors are convinced it's something supernatural, or maybe it's Ishmael and Penny doing the killing.

Step 4 - Ishmael says everyone should stay together as a group, the group ignores him and....

Step 5 - more people die

Step 6 - After most or all of the people are dead, Ishmael discovers a perfectly normal explanation for things. For an experienced investigator that will never die, Ishmael really sucks at his job.
