What will you learn in this book?

Of course, you will learn about investing in this book. However, it won’t be the only thing that we will cover. Before you even consider investing, it’s important to know some things about financial literacy. With more than 70 percent of teenagers not knowing how to trade stocks or ETFs, the questions that need to be asked are: How much do you know about financial literacy? Can you read bank statements? Do you know the difference between income and expenses? This might be worrisome. However, you’re going to learn the basics of financial literacy. The first two chapters will focus on that.

Speaking of chapters, let’s provide you with an overview of what you will learn in this book:

  • Chapter 1: "Introduction to Investing"
  • Chapter 2: "Building a Strong Financial Foundation"
  • Chapter 3: "Basic Concepts of Investing"
  • Chapter 4: "Developing an Investing Strategy"
  • Chapter 5: "Stocks and Mutual Funds/ETFs—Everything You Need to Know"
  • Conclusion: "Becoming a Confident Investor"
  • Bonus: "List of Custodial Accounts for Investing"

If you are interested in improving your financial future while you’re still young, this is the right book for it. Click "Buy Now" and listen to get your book and get started. You may be trying to figure out how to go about doing it. One of those ways happens to be investing.

This is a great start for teaching teens the building blocks of finance and how it all works. I have listened to other audiobooks about investing for teenagers, and what I really like about this book and what I think makes it stand out from the rest is that it starts with the basics. Things like what is an expense, what is a bank statement, what does it mean, and how should you adjust your spending accordingly. It covers things like what are the differences between bonds, stocks, and mutual funds. These are all important concepts that form the foundation for understanding finance.

We all wished we had started investing sooner.

In fact, I don’t think I know of a single individual that doesn’t.

However, we can give our families the financial start that we may have missed out on with the power of knowledge, in a day and age where excellent informational sources such as “investing for teens” by Daniel R are in no short supply.

This title will help your teen understand that investing in the smart phone era is literally as easy as posting a picture of their coffee on social media. Because it seriously is. Especially with the understanding of EFTs (exchange traded funds) that basket together a myriad of stocks for diversity.

If that sounds confusing to your teen then have them listen to this audiobook and then they will become financially enlightened.

The aforementioned EFTs, DCA (dollar cost averaging), investment vehicles, etc, (you name it) are all covered in detail and broken down into digestible segments.

Don’t kick the can of your families financial potential and know how down the road to a later date.

The best time to plant a tree is today, as they say.

And the best tree to plant is the tree of knowledge.

Stacking your investments does not have to be hard

This investing overview provides practical explanations of different types of investments for teeens new to this concept. Easily understandable breakdowns of investment terms and strategies are reviewed. Some essentials of financial literacy are also provided. I found the section on ETFs and mutual funds to be the most informative. This is a great resource to use as a starting point in your child's/teen's financial education.
