Invidious is the second installment in the Tales of the Phoenix Titan series and follow-up to the best-seller Heritage. This space opera is perfect for fans of Firefly, the Expanse, Star Wars and Mass Effect.

Novus Ordo Seclorum.

A separatist revolution brewing for decades has finally begun, but the people pulling the strings have far more insidious plans ahead.

In the vast wilderness of space, Nathan Carter and the crew of the Phoenix Titan explore remnant temples left behind by the Enkaye Dynasty. Life is pretty good, but that quickly changes when an old acquaintance makes contact.

Once again, the crew of the Phoenix Titan find themselves in the eye of the storm. A new adversary has risen, but nothing is ever as it seems.

Good story, more in depth universe . Thinking I will buy the third book . I wonder how far the series will go. Only complain is the narrator doing a shouting line but just being monotoned. And in one of the last chapters, I swear I heard a door open

Better than the first book

This whole series has been a Rollercoaster ride! I thoroughly enjoyed all thre books, but the third... whew! Corporarte and political espionage, family ties, destiny, aliens, ship battles, and a combat scenario that reminded me of the battle of Endor, all VERY GOOD! I need a part 4!

Gripping Story!
