Didn’t enjoy this one

Near the end of the book he says. You just get me. Really? The entire book is about her misinterpreting his intentions, trusting everyone else over him. Plus the fact they take the romance (sex) into the office and he’s not an owner of the company but doesn’t worry about being fired. Dumb. Immature drama.

Steamy, Flirty, and Fun

It's an understatement to say I enjoy this audiobook. This book earned me my gold Repeat Listener badge.
Gabriel is very alpha, arrogant, and passionate- a high ranking manager at Carter Corp. The only thing that can bring him to his knees is his new assistant, Ashley. He loves a good challenge, and Ashley gives it to him. She calls him out on his arrogance and high-handedness, challenges him, and finds herself taking for his charm and magnetism despite trying hard to resist him. Add in a couple of well developed side-characters and this story is a win!

I loved watching Gabriel and Ashley learn to put their pride aside for each other, banter and flirt, and find out that they really want the same thing- a committed relationship with the other. Their chemistry is off the charts and ends with a happily ever after that leaves me feeling content.
