Wonderfully engaging . Perfectly performed.

Great account of the liberation of Paris during WWII from the Allied, French and German perspectives . Nice balance of historical facts and personal stories. Narrator was incredible.

Excellent story. Reads like a novel.

I read this book many years ago. These authors are really good writers and so are their other books. Recommend reading all their books.

Interesting

Enjoyed this history of the final days of Paris' occupation by the Nazis told from many perspectives. Found it interesting, especially having been to Paris and able to vividly picture what was being described.
