The new, detached setting is teeming with "land mines"—highly unusual ones. Plenty of other, deadlier things would be happy to reach out and touch someone anywhere, be it the roof of a skyscraper or a subway tunnel deep underground. Tons of somnambulant extras could swing either way: cut your throat or help you, purely on a whim. Weapons are as deadly as they are improbable. Deliberately imposed multiple handicaps make any attempts at camouflage meaningless.

It looks like there are way too many top Challenge participants around. Culling time is upon us.

Good book just seemed shorter than others. Might have been the fast pace. I hope the next book comes out soon.

I won’t bore you with anything wordy. If you read the previous books and liked them, you won’t be disappointed.

Great story telling

It's the usual next floor/stage stuff, he's basically by himself the whole time. This one is a bit different from the others. And there's way more explaining and introspection. I basically went about my day and it was a good background distraction. However, I did have a long and I will try again. I'm sad, because I was so excited for this one, that I feel like, this could have had more stuff happen, if there was less "blah blah this and blah blah that. Still a good book with a narrator that works really well for this MC

it's a filler book as far as I'm concerned

The Foodstuffs series is the bacon-wraped filet mignon of LitRPG. A bloodier 'Hunger Games' for adults. The 12-year old kid in me is very very happy with this world rich with adventure, skill level ups, and oh that sweet Loot!

The gaming system and The Loot!

I really enjoy this series. This book, to me, is the best story n this series to date! The main character is maturing and so the problems that need solved are also getting tougher

Best book in this series by far!
