Isoken Omoruyi looks forward to marrying Uyi, the love of her life, but keeps her relationship a secret from her family because of his financial status. Two moons to her introduction day, everything falls apart. Uyi Eguavoen works hard to save some money as he prepares for the introduction day. He looks forward to starting a family with Isoken and promises to see her parents in the next two months, but his plan is marred when king Ohuan pays Isoken’s bride price to her parents without her consent. The king gets what he wants, and no one dares to question his orders. Trapped and cheated of their dreams, Isoken and Uyi discard traditions and do the unthinkable that could either bring them together or separate them forever.
