What is beneath our feet? Below our skin? What lurks in the darkness in the basement, or deep inside the earth? How far down can you read before you go insane? Step down into the chilling stories in Below.

We woefully present you with tales of the twisted and terrifying.

Listen to maddening transmissions, step into a basement of secrets, encounter a mother whose hate transcends death, a late-night work call becomes a fight of survival, demons lurk, and spirits seek their final revenge.

These are not your Mother's bedtime stories…

I was entertained by this collection of short stories written in the horror genre. The stories were of different lengths and some of them were spine-tingling while others were scarier. My biggest issue with this audiobook was the narrator. I appreciated that Steven Gillen's performance was fine as far as diction, and there were times when he provided a different voice for some of the characters; however, his tone just wasn't dramatic enough for the horror genre. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

couldn't assess the stories because the narrator was so comically bad. who told him to talk like that? I can't even describe it. he read the stories like an absolute dufus and ruined anything scary about the stories.

narrator was awful
