Tamara Collins is poised to become the next great American actress. The only problem is that Hollywood doesn't know it yet. Since her bills aren't paying themselves though, Tamara decides to sign on to star in the new stage play, It Should've Been Me. Tamara wants to just get in, get out, and get paid, but her co-stars - including Donovan Dobbs, her ex that left her at the altar, and Camille Woods, a young starlet with a serious grudge - could make this the worst decision Tamara's ever made.

Gwen Tanner Weinstein, playwright and producer, has decided that if her neglectful husband can't give her love, she'll take his money - and use it to make her stage-play dreams come true. She's put together an amazing cast and sold out shows across the country, so she's ready to take her rightful reign as one of the top play producers in the country. The only problem is that she needs to keep the drama contained to the stage - and that sexy young merchandising guy out of her bed....

The book abruptly ended... Many loose ends left undone. This left me having a multitude of questions.

Part 2?

Very slow! Narrator voice was awful!! Very disappointed. It was a waste of my credit!

Awful!

Although well-written, the storylines never offered enough. And after having to suffer through a rape scene, there was no justice. The villains won on every count. And we never even find out what happened with the main character and her love interest. After all that set up. Meh. The book is undone. And with experienced writers, I expected more. Sequel? Nah. I’m good.

That’s it?

I did enjoy the story but I feel it was a cliffhanger. Is there a book 2. Now that she (tamara) found out the truth what is she going to do with it!

Cliff hanger

I love everything written by these women, but with this novel, I really expected more. The narration was poor and the ending kind of left me hanging. It seems like it was open ended for a sequel. I hope so!!
