She does a PHENOMENAL job at telling an intense story that keeps you hooked from the beginning to the end. I just couldn't stop listening to the book (Finished it in 2 days!)

Fear, drama, anger, nostalgia, love, frustration, joy...I felt it all! I felt represented in every chapter!

Thank you Karina Sainz for writing this thought provoking novel, and for shining a light on Venezuela's issues, even though we it seems like it is always dark in Caracas...

Sad, depressing book about how horrible it is to live in Venezuela. Narrator was excellent.

I thought is was good. must be terrible to leave a country you were born in. to start over in somewhere you don't know.

This book was fantastic. Karina Sainz Borgo is a very talented writer. I could feel her emotion all throughout this book. The narrator did a phenomenal job as well. Highly recommend!!!

I was born in Venezuela to British parents.I left Venezuela in 1963 and emigrated to California. life was good in Venezuela for a few lucky ones like my family. The author conveyed very skillfully the present horrible conditions in caracas which probably arose from the haves ignoring the conditions of the have nots.As I said the haves had it good
