Garrison is a proficient writer with an inspiring story, but his self-awareness and insight into disability give weight to his memoir. His sly sense of humor, meanwhile, provides a good balance to his heavier material.

The author has great talent in showing, not telling, the listener the steps of the journey and the mind-set of his younger self. His choice of language is spectacular, including the progressions of his fear and confidence levels as a very young man, progressing through the years. Masterful sharing of experiential detail.

Great book for everyone!

I feel as though the Author Kevin Garrison really put his heart and soul into this book. While listening to the audiobook, I was able to put myself in Kevin's shoes and feel as though I was living his trials and tribulations of life. The Narrator has the perfect pitch, pace, and tone which was a pleasure to listen to. I hope this author writes another book soon!
