From spring to summer, autumn to winter, a lot can happen in a single year . . .

Tilly Parker needs a fresh start, fresh air and a fresh attitude if she is ever to leave the past behind and move on with her life. As she seeks out peace and quiet in a new town, taking on a plot at Ivy Lane allotments seems like the perfect solution.

But the friendly Ivy Lane community has other ideas and gradually draw Tilly in to their cosy, comforting world of planting seedlings, organizing bake sales and planning seasonal parties.

As the seasons pass, will Tilly learn to stop hiding amongst the sweetpeas and let people back into her life – and her heart?

A charming and romantic story certain to make you smile - perfect for fans of Carole Matthews, Trisha Ashley and Katie Fforde.

Ivy Lane was originally published as a four-part serial. This is the complete story in one package.

I love the story of her recovering from tragedy with the help of community but I am not at all crazy about how it ended. The Last couple of chapters are like cold water to the face and the romance seemed a bit juvenile. It's worth reading for the main characters development however.

Fizzled at the end....

Colleen Prendergast is a great narrator, but this story was not great. It was slow & in parts it felt like the author was trying too hard to build intrigue (and it wasn't working). Didn't love it.

Great narrator, slow story

A great story that taught me a little about gardening along the way! The author painted a lovely picture of an entire community, all centered on their garden allotments. The people at Ivy Lane are as varied as their choice fo garden plants! The story has great ups and downs, to keep you along for the ride. Having a secret to find out also helps! A good escape.

Almost made me want to garden!

This book was every bit as good as A Patchwork Family. Very soothing feel-good story and lovable characters and lovely description of small town UK.

Nice listen, just nothing too shocking, relaxing. More great narration by Colleen Prendergast.

Good, but predictable
