Miraculous phenomena occur in every part of the world, since a mysterious asteroid is approaching the Earth. Pedro Ayala, a journalist known for his uncommon theories about ancient extraterrestrials, is invited to New York by the United Nations. Together with scientists and intelligence agents he will have to form a task force to understand if there is a correlation between religious phenomena and a coded message transmitted by the mysterious asteroid. While in the world the prospect of a possible “first contact” with an extraterrestrial civilization creates turmoil, even the intelligence agencies fear that the asteroid is an alien spacecraft piloted by creatures that have visited us in the past, creating the human race and founding religions.
Not knowing the true intentions of the visitors, the members of the Jericho team will have to assess the risks and consider possible military countermeasures: their choice could lead mankind towards a bright future of coexistence with more evolved worlds - an authentic “Paradise on Earth” - or to a devastating interplanetary war. A few days before the arrival of the asteroid, whose light is now visible all over the world, in Washington a man who performs miracles raises a terrible doubt about the true nature of the Messiah...
