The cliffhanger. Who? What? and Why? there is a lot of unanswered questions. I enjoyed the book, but there is still alot left unsaid

WoW!! This was such a good book. The story and the depiction of the characters were excellent, but were truly brought to life by the narration of Eboni Flowers.
I liked that Jackson was suspenseful without being too angsty. It's a slow burn which is my only issue but I don't mind heat in the prologue so....🤣

Well-written and intriguing

I thought this story was refreshing. LaQuette did a great job of weaving the perfect mix of fire and suspense into this book. I was pleasantly surprised with the themes and story complexity. I thoroughly enjoyed!

JACKSON WAS SEXY

This book kept popping up in my feed and I'm glad I decided to listen to it. Aja is a strong and very independent woman. Jackson had his hands full with her. I like how they worked their way up to be romantic. Aja has such a good heart too. It takes a special person to want to help two special ladies and help them get back on their feet. So very admirable of Aja. But for she and Jackson, I love a good romance that's hot and heavy.
Eboni Snow did an awesome job narrating too! Can't wait for the next book in the series.

I was invested!

I really enjoyed this book. I was all into the characters. Aja stressed me out. I loved the twists and turns. Well done!
