More than a million people devoured IF YOU TELL, Amazon’s bestselling ebook for 2020. Audiences were shocked by the story of child abuser and murderer Michelle Knotek. At the same time, many were inspired, too. Indeed, hundreds of women reached out to author Gregg Olsen to say how healing reading the book had been; that it was a story that mirrored their own. Many disclosed secrets they’ve never told a soul.

The Momster Diaries links those stories to the important dialog of abuse and its long-term impact on those who have survived the brutality of a narcissistic or especially cruel mother. The Momster Diaries shines the light on riveting and compelling survival stories with intimacy and candor.

My stomach did several flip-flops listening to the story. I, at one time, had to protect my own daughter against a family member when she came to me and told me something happened. I didn't hesitate one bit, even though the person who hurt my child was someone I was very close to in my family. I never looked back after making him pay. I don't know how you call yourself a mother, sleep in the same bed as the person who is assaulting your children, and not DO something. I know in 1955 times were different, but my heart breaks for Jane. Hearing her voice shake with tears just remembering the horror she endured as a young girl. I have always said that some women should never become mothers and I truly mean that. There are some women who do not have a maternal bone in their body. Jane is just one of so many women who need their story told. Gregg Olsen, this is the most heart-wrenching series I have ever listened to! I was so wonderfully narrated by you and hearing Jane's voice tell the story has so much more impact. She has now told her story....we see you Jane... I hope you can be free now.

It is so gripping to hear these Momster diaries. I am a teacher and I just think of my kids at school and how they are treated by their parents. I mean, society has shifted so very much. I listened to the father being a molester, and it was clear, the mother had no power in that household. u think that is why she always dismissed the issue. I feel like society has evolved, and this situation, still happens I know, but occurs less now. Kudos to Gregg for exploring this horrific topic.
