Excellent, beginning.

This was an excellent beginning to this series. The writing was excellent, and the storyline was very good. The story drew you in from the very beginning.

Excellent Start To A Series!

I wasn’t sure this a series for me (vs. teens), but I have to say I am more mad more invested after each book. I am a fan of the authors book and that is why I ultimately gave the series a try. Honor Raconteur’s writing and Mark McClain Wilson’s storytelling I a wonderful combination. My only concern, I wish Audible had all the books in the series available.

enjoyed this book as it was a great world introduction and new take on magic.

Got bored, and I stayed bored.

The reading experience proved to be largely unmemorable and unengaging. I initially anticipated that the narrative's world-building would evolve into a more fulfilling experience; however, this was not the case, and the time invested ultimately felt unproductive. Consequently, I will be refraining from engaging with this author's works in the future.
