When a wrong turn strands them deep in the Wharton State Forest, cut off from the world, the trip becomes a desperate fight for their lives. A tattered journal discovered in an abandoned church reveals a horrifying truth that stretches back centuries. The creature is real, it is intelligent, and it has been hunting these woods for a very long time.

As night falls, the students are stalked by something ancient and malevolent. It's not just a monster; it's a scientist, and they are its newest experiment. One by one, they will learn that the darkest legends are born from the most brutal truths.

Interesting story for a cryptic character

I did not know much about the Jersey Devil. In my part of the country Bigfoot and space aliens are king. It was a good story. It would have made a good movie of the week during the 1970s. It reminds me of Kolcheck and the Predator.

I detest this narration, voice has no life to it

This narration is terrible, I was hesitant because of the computer generated narration and I wish I had stuck to my gut instinct. The narration just doesn't have life to it, its just mundane monotone sounding IMO. The story itself wasn't bad, though I admit if it had a better narration I might have enjoyed this story. Honestly I'd say just skip this version
