Johnny Apocalypse and the Battle for New York

Johnny Apocalypse, Deb, and their companions find themselves drawn into the ruins of Nork, a city ruled by a fearful king who enslaves the people of Pelpia and commands armies of cruel riders. When Deb is captured and the tribe’s allies taken north in chains, Johnny must risk everything to save them—even as monstrous Lurkers prowl the tunnels beneath the city.

Old enemies return, including Monsta of the Doomsday Prophecy, and new threats rise in the form of the king’s dark counselor Ferdinand. Allies are scattered, rescues seem impossible, and treachery lurks in every shadow of Nork’s towering ruins.

Yet above the city, the Sky people defend their goddess Pantina against the king’s armies, adding mystery and wonder to the struggle below. Torn between human treachery, monstrous foes, and divine powers, Johnny and his friends must fight not only for survival, but for the freedom of everyone who still dreams of rebuilding the world.
