I was led to this by Holy Spirit due to being in a season of learning the importance of being committed to the sanctification process of Holy Spirit working in me while remaining resolved to “beat my flesh into submission” as the Apostle Paul said (not literally, it’s metaphorical. Basically saying to live a holy life walking in Holy Spirit and not the flesh)
I loved it and am putting several of these into my spiritual practices especially how he would review his day at the end of the night to take inventory of how he behaved, how he ate, how he drank, etc.
if you are committed to the sanctification process and want practical spiritual disciplines this is the book to add to your reading list
