Jordan's Redemption

Just when Ashley was beginning to settle into her new life with Jordan the unexpected happens. A call saying her mother was at the hospital sent her scurrying from the safety of his home. Before she can reach the hospital, she discovers the call was ruse to get her separated from the cartel leader’s protection. She waits for her opportunity to escape, totally unaware that Jordan has his own ideas about her situation. Jordan slams his office door shut with the force of thunder. His fist ball into tight fists as he thinks of how Ashley lulled him into a false sense of security by pretending to care for him, only to escape from him the very first chance she got. Though he would never admit it to himself much less anyone else, he was deeply hurt. Being who he was, that translated in white hot fury. That didn’t bode well for his little love once she was found.
