Touching but...

I found the performance to be, I guess, "sappy" or "syrupy" with the reader's voice inflection of one reading to a small child.

A simple yet wonderful story

Such a sweet book about a young boy as he learns how special he truly is to His Father and to the rest of the world. It is written in a simple way to make it a book that can be read by the young as well as the adult. If you have read any of the author's Joshua series you will appreciate this story and how sweet Joshua learns of his gifts.

Simple, Moving Story

Although just a story born out of imagination, this book does make you think about life, about God and the poor.

Unlistenable narration!

I loved the original Joshua series and was excited for a new volume in the series. But I could only make it through about an hour of this one before I had to quit. The narrator's voice is unbelievably feminine and infantile to the point that it feels like I'm listening to an episode of Sesame Street or some other children's time sermon. seriously it's absolutely terrible and utterly distracting.
