Another great adventure!

Michener was such a talented writer. You get caught up completely on the story! The last chapter is how he came to write it, very interesting.

Interesting although not really my type. Definitely a great picture of the time the characters live in. I might read his other books. Narrator doesn't change voice much

gripping...wilderness theatre...

One of the BEST books by Michner...I felt the cold and the man foolishness and pride....gripping story...followed with Journey...the Canadian side of the Alaskan story...which I will now downliad...all captivating.

Great book!!

The narrator is so good!! Unlike other readers I loved him. He reminded me of a wonderful Uncle that would tell stories in the evening!
