Judy Jones and the Monkey Man

Judy Jones has a lot on her mind for a 14-year-old schoolgirl. Her father has inexplicably gone into a trance and cannot communicate; what's worse, he seems to think he is a monkey. His catatonic state proves to have its compensations however, as he soon becomes a world-famous concert pianist and millionaire currency trader. As well as having to support her father Judy has to help her best friend Sally, a 'Schol' with a dysfunctional family whose father has got into crime. There is also the matter of solving the mysterious disappearance of the school exam papers, not to mention dealing with her arch-rival Natalie, the wealthiest and wickedest girl in the school. But all she really wants is to get her Daddy back to normal, which she has no clue how to do, until her strange dreams start giving her an idea of how to release him from his trance.
