A Dom and a Rigger walk into a bar….

Sounds like the start of a good joke, but for Cody and me, it's grounds for friendship and nothing more.

Anything else would require acknowledging the barriers between us and the desires we keep hidden.

Invisible scars of war meet impenetrable walls of distrust. An impasse neither of us knows how to overcome until a newbie walks through the doors of The Garden.

Oakley finds himself in need of rescuing and a fair amount of guidance, a challenge Cody and I are willing to accept. But once we begin, it's clear there is more between us than just lessons.

Emotions are building, walls are crumbling, and the three of us are all scrambling for purchase in a dynamic we never expected to find.

Will the three of us be able to find happiness together, or will we be forced to accept our lives as Just Enough?

After loving the first book I was expecting to at least like this one. I did not.

Most of the relationship development was off page. This was more of an intro to very basic BDSM in romance.

Oakley seemed to get lost in the shuffle quite a bit. Aaron and Cody were better as side characters. I don’t think they were developed enough to have their own novel. There were a few times I forgot which POV I was listening to and had to double check.

The “I love yous” came out of nowhere. Cody and Aaron had been going to the diner Oakley works at every Sunday for a year. Then when they see Oakley at their BDSM club they decide to be the ones to show him the ropes (ha). Then a couple scenes later they all loved each other.

Dan Levy did an okay job narrating. He doesn’t voice characters too differently which is where some of my confusion came from. I’d probably listen to more of his work if it were a book I really wanted in audio. But would pass otherwise.

Disappointed

The attraction and sexual tension between Cody and Aaron was apparent from the very beginning (and also from the last book, tbh), but they both have their reasons to hold back, between past baggage, common friendships and, not least, the fact that they are both Doms.
Enter one cute young geek, with a freshly discovered interest in submission, but very eager to explore it and the mix is perfect for a super steamy and also very emotional read.
Again, great book, I love polyamory and this was a great dynamic, with two very different Dom and a sweet but a bit bratty sub!

Very emotional and steamy mmm.

This book was sweet. I liked the relationship that formed between them, especially that they all discover how much they need each other.

The only *tiny* pet peeve is that the narrator pronounced chaste like “chast” with a short a and it bugged me every.single.time!

Sweet story with love

Just Enough was absolute perfection!! Aaron and Cody are best friends with Eric and Sawyer from More Than Enough. We got to read their friendship beginning in that one. Aaron, Cody and Oakley form a pure and beautiful triad within the pages of Just Enough. Each of the men are all complex in their own individual rights. I love how the author gave them each a voice, snarkiness, humor, emotion and so much heat and steam! Dan Levy did a great performance with the narration! Overall, a truly phenomenal story that flowed, it was over before I realized it! I listened to it in one sitting.

Perfection!!

I enjoyed this book. It was a nice listen on my rides home this week. I did a few spots were the guys' voices all sounded the same so it was hard to tell who was talking, but honestly, it was just a few times. I enjoyed the storyline very much and i look forward to listening to the next book.

great listen
