Short rare bwwm story was LUKE warm

I hate to not be excited about this story because bwwm stories are rare and to find one without crude erotic sex and unwed pregnancy, is HARD. This story is about a scheme between to long time good friends to help her get her inheritance. But feelings developed between them. This story was too short and rushed. It didn't seem to flow but, I appreciate the story. Should you buy it.. eh..... Small price.. flip a coin. good luck

Love the story!

The writing was great and the narrator was ok, but her interpretation of the guy distracts from the character. She made him sound less than intelligent, but spot on for Rory.

Short but sweet

Rory and Jackson has been best friends since grade school, neither telling the other about their true feelings. When Rory's parents died their will was very explicit about how Rory was to obtain the money.
Rory's business was in trouble and she needed to get married to save her business. She confided In Jackson her plan to go to a matchmaker and Jackson told her he would marry her!
A must read!

So-so job for the man

needed a guy to do the man's part. she did a laughable job trying to sound like a guy.

couldnt finish it

I'm sorry I listened for and hour, and I couldnt power through. the narration was too....yuck. they either should've gotten a Male to read the Male parts and did this story duet style, or found an actor who can do a males voice with some believability. The reading was off, in terms of what should have been simple punctuation, and it just sounded like a woman trying super hard to deepen her voice. I would be interested in READING this story just to see how it develops... but I couldnt listen to it. Sorry.
