the plot

it was good. I really enjoyed joked it. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Definitely Not My Favorite

I usually like Anna's stories even though sometimes they are a little over the top. However, this one is not only way over the top but there is no real lead up to the attraction, sex, anything. And for being a smart "Aster Sister" the way this one acts in the first half of the book is just silly. I have never been a fan of Guilluame's narration because he has no female voices so half the time you don't know who is talking. His portal of CC is so over the top it is almost like you are listening to a slap stick comedy. The second half does get better but CC's character changes. It kinda gave me whiplash. One minute she is this ridiculous person and then next she just magically does a 180 and becomes a rational normal person. It was tough getting through the front half. I am glad I finished it because it continues the story line with nuggets about the next book that will hopefully be better.
