Hearing whispers in his mind of the coming of a colossal fire lizard, writer Marc begins a new book about this monstrous Kaiju, unaware that by imagining the creature he gives it life and power.

He witnesses the world's navies smashed aside by blows which cause tsunamis, its air forces torn from the sky by shredding storms conjured by the huge beast. Too late does he realize Godrisaur is real and cares little about mankind, its focus locked on the Anathema, a fiery sun god Kaiju which holds the Earth captive.

As Godrisaur makes landfall, the ground quakes beneath the cataclysmic forces unleashed by the apocalyptic duel of these mighty opponents. Caught in the middle of this epic clash, Marc must try to save his girlfriend Jain. But can he save himself as well? Or is he, and the world with him, doomed to be consumed in the Kaiju Cataclysm?

Kaiju Mayhem

This is a very well written and original Godzilla novella. It has elements of the movie Cloverfield. It place in Australia. It would have been better with an Australian narrator. Aside from that, a great idea for a Godzilla story.
