Kane knows Corrine was meant to be his...just as he knows that truly possessing the lovely human is forbidden. But on the night of the Samhain moon, the beast in every demon is stronger than reason, and Kane's hunger is more powerful than any punishment....

Possible Spoilers:
This story picks up from the scene with Kane in the book ‘Jacob’. It does not advance the series at all - nothing about necromancers. Kane touched Corinne before Jacob interrupted and had Kane send her away and wipe the memory. This was before Jacob learned of the bond between demons and druids. Corinne had started to fade away from lack of contact so King Noah and Kane’s mentor found a way for the two to be in contact without letting the pull of Samhain take over.
Eyre did a decent job of narration.
