For here or to go? It’s a question Nathaniel O’Toole asks every day while working in his uncle’s pie shop. But when Harrison Rutledge walks through the front door, Nathaniel can’t help but imagine a third option — forever.

Not that it’s possible, of course.

Even if a guy as attractive as Harrison wanted him, Nathaniel’s duty is with his uncle’s business. Ever since his older brother disappeared, he’s done his best to keep what little family he has left together.

He can’t let a man interfere.

At least, not until the impossible happens and Nathaniel’s brother comes home.

Nathaniel O’Toole is the sweetest thing in Pie Five bakery, and Harrison Rutledge can’t help but want a taste. When he leaves his number, he hopes Nathaniel will call to ask him out, but when he finally gets in touch, it’s for business — his brother needs help.

And so might Harrison if he can’t get Nathaniel out of his head.

Keep Me is the third and final novella in the Rutledge Brothers series. Please note: This book was previously released in May 2017 under the same title, but its contents, including elements of its plot, have significantly changed.

This is a short and sweet listen that I just love. I love the final story of the Rutledge Brothers. I love Harrison and Nate! I absolutely love listening to this sweet romance. This is short but still so amazing. Dennis Adams has done an amazing job with this narration. He brings the emotions to this story. I love it!

Harrison is so sweet and gentle. I liked how kindness was his default. Nathaniel's desire for Harrison is palpable. He impressed me with his support for his broken brother and his strength when standing up for himself with his uncle. Harrison does right by Nate, respecting him and his family; earning my respect by his chivalrous actions. Loved the ending.

Audiobook: great narrator

This is one of those books that works like a blanket. Or a fire. Or hot chocolate. It serves a purpose and that is mainly to warm you up and make you feel good. It’s got a goey midsection and a sweet aftertaste. Along these parameters I really enjoy this short, emotional story of Harrison and Nathaniel. It had its lesson and was pretty much to the point. I enjoyed it.

After his other two brothers find love, Harrison is wondering when he will. He gets his chance when he meets Nathaniel.

I enjoyed this series, but I felt like this book was a little too short. All of their dates were described in a few minutes right before the epilogue. I'm glad there was an epilogue; it solidified their HEA.

I wish Dylan was part of the Single Dad Support Group series. Hopefully, he'll have his own story in the future.

Nathaniel was a sympathetic character. I would have liked to see more of Harrison POV to get to know him better. I felt like there was a lot here that could have been fleshed out more if it was a longer story. I was not a fan of the uncle, and I thought the conflict with him went deeper than a few stressed out moments and resolved a little too easily, considering the beliefs underpinning his treatment of both omegas. Otherwise it was a cute romance and it was interesting to have an omegaverse book centered around a side character's pregnancy .

Short and sweet
