Keeper of Dreams, the huge new collection of short stories by one of science fiction's most beloved and popular writers, is sure to please his millions of fans. This first volume contains five stellar stories from the collection - The Elephants of Poznan, Atlantis, Geriatric Ward, Heal Thyself, and Angles - as well as Card's new introductions for each story, plus commentary on his life and work.

Like the earlier Maps in a Mirror, Keeper of Dreams is a definitive retrospective of the short-fiction career of the writer that The Houston Post called "the best writer science fiction has to offer".

I read the hard back some time ago. I loved reading THE ELEPHANTS OF POSNAN and also listening to it. I did not care for HEAL THYSELF when I read it, but like it as a listen this time. I still don't like ATLANTIS, GERIATRIC WARD OR ANGLES. SPACE BOY was in the hard back, but not on this download. I will continue this series, as I am a huge fan, but if you are new to Card, do not start here. If you are new to his short fiction start with the MAPS IN A MIRROR series. Those are some of his earlier writings and as I have mentioned before, his earlier writings are better.

the intro was excruciating to get through, the first two stories were ok, the rest were so bad. I am returning this book for sure. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

disappointed

Thought this was going to be a good listen but thought wrongfully. Other listeners may have different views once they dive into this title. To much talk about procreation and unnecessary words about what the author/writer went through before publishing this book/title.

Not Worth the credit
