Wonderful storytelling!

House of Eve made me want to read everything Sadequa writes. This book did not disappoint. I looked forward to picking up where I left off until I was finished. A great read by an amazing author!

Amazing read! It kept my attention from beginning to end. An awesime lesson in black history.

She has done it again!

The story telling is again phenomenal. I love the intertwining of the characters and the decades of which they exist and how they all come together to bring the story to a triumphant, heart warming and gentle end. It touches on unfortunate but true points and times in history without being overwhelming while keeping to the story. Let's also not forget, if your heart is in tact, a few tears may fall. It leaves you with a peaceful calm. Highly recommend to all Ms. Johnsons fans! You will not be disappointed!

Powerful storytelling

I enjoyed feeling as though I was transported in time. It was like looking through a looking glass of each characters life. Taking the journey with each character was full of surprises and poignant moments. This is a must read.
