Great start to new series! Absolutely loved this!

This audio is totally my jam! Military/suspense. A fubar mission that results in tragedy and forced resignations of a team of Seals who want justice for their fallen brother. It was tight and fast-paced, no wasted scenes or filler. Action right from the start with a heart-breaking, gut-wrenching prologue that Connor Crais fully committed to and performed to perfection! 🫶 He and Samantha Brentmoor were flawless throughout this dual narration. Samantha's nuanced, expressive voice brings Natalie to life -- from (Hunter's) grieving widow; to best friends then lovers (with Logan); to the victim caught up in the center of a high-stakes, corporate, criminal conspiracy! Loved this story by Anna Blakely ( new to me), and will definitely be looking forward to the rest of this series. I enjoyed this so much I completed it in one session, non-stop. Could not put it down!

Hard to finish

While I wanted to like this title, I found the lines cheesy and predictable. The female narrator is fine when sticking to female. Her male voices were cringeworthy, and I almost didn't finish. Connor, whose narration was the driving force to my choosing this title, was delicious but again, the story was just too....
