Sick and tired of day-to-day life, John turns to his thoughts and imagination for a means of escape.
One day he meets Keith. He is taught that life doesn't have to be boring. It can be fun. You can go places, do things, meet people. For the first time in his life, John begins to enjoy himself.
However, he soon learns that Keith is not as he appears.
He has a dark side. He is out of control and he is taking John down with him.

This was short but packed with so many emotions, not to mention twists and turns. The characters were fleshed out well. I really felt for John in the beginning. The author really captured what it’s like to slowly your mind.
Dark and short, but this is a must read for fans of psychological fiction.

I was asked to listen to this story and leave a review. While a very short story, I think Andrew did a good job filling the book with lots of emotions and really allowing the listener to get inside John's head. Personally, I think the ending was a bit rushed and predictable, but overall I thought it was a good story. If I had to change something, I would maybe go more into detail about who the girl was. She was so random and I don't understand why he really felt the need to kill her. Overall, it was a pretty entertaining quick story to listen to on my drives. It wasn't super gory either which personally I really liked.
Andrew - I hope this review helps for any future books you write! :)
