This is a humorous cozy mystery featuring a strong female protagonist, some unusual friends and co-workers, and a mystery that needs solving! It has no graphic gore, bad language or love scenes.

Can’t finish this story.

The narration is terrible. The story isn’t good enough to overcome the electronic voice with no inflection or emotion. The story may be good but I keep getting distracted by the reading.

Narration can make or break a book

AI audio was unpleasant voice and tone to me. Story was weak. Not enough depth and to predictable.

Not a human narrator

I couldn’t get past the narration. Maybe my Story rating would be higher but the inflections were often so off I couldn’t get into it. How expensive is it to hire a human? Very disappointed.

I enjoyed the book itself. the AI narrative was awful. No emotion all characters sound the same. sometimes difficult to listen to. I think would give a much higher rating with real readers with expressive voices
