But Ms. Cole is one tough cookie who will not go down without a fight. Has the campaign for mayor turned deadly?

Didn’t guess the killer

Love when I guess early and am right but quick listen and good mystery where I did not guess. Great characters and voices by reader.

Easy listen

A light mystery with a sweet story. Allyson does a great job and the twist is great.

I loved just the mystery without the intrigue and fear

I like the in the premise of this particular book there was no hanging onto the edge of life -no life or death drama but a great
“Who done it?” mystery. I highly recommend it. I love the series and have started at one and I’m working my way through again. Each time I read the books I see a different clue. These are wonderful.

LOVED THIS ONE

I do love this series, but this is one of the best books in it. Lindsey, Ms. Cole, and the Briar Creek library face off with the Mayor in an entertaining story of loyalties, politics, integrity, and, of course, murder. As usual, my only regret is I finished the book all too soon. Now, the wait for our next visit to Briar Creek.

Great story with keeping with the series.

I love Jenn McKinley’s books. I have read or listened to them all a few times. The narrator is also captivating by bring the characters to life.
